Profile Summary

I am a committed academic and public health advocate with a research focus on addiction screening and early intervention, particularly among Indiaโ€™s tribal and underserved populations. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and a Certified Peer Reviewer and Mendeley Advisor (Certified) by Elsevier, contributing to ethical, methodologically rigorous scholarly publishing. I have completed the CBCTยฎ (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) Teachers Training from Emory University and am an active learner of SEE Learningยฎ. My work integrates compassion, cognition, mental health, and social systems to inform both research and community practice.

As the developer of the Multidimensional Addiction Behaviour Scale (MABS), my work seeks to bridge the gap between clinical research and real-world community health outcomes.
I have consistently contributed to community welfare, youth empowerment, and educational equity, especially among indigenous communities across Northeast India. Through my leadership in academic publishing, public health outreach, and field-based collaborations, I strive to shape inclusive and evidence-informed policy frameworks that uphold health, dignity, and social justice.
My mission is to translate knowledge into impact by actively engaging in public policy, strengthening regional governance mechanisms, and amplifying the voices of marginalised communities on national platforms.
